Size a stage ramp at one foot of run per inch of rise, see that a 32-inch stage needs too much room, and lower the deck so the ramp fits.
37 sThe production plan your crew can build from
Stage decks, truss, speakers, the FOH desk, power and drape on the same to-scale plan as the tables, so the room and the rig agree before load-in. Built with production teams, for production teams.
Start a production planStages, stairs and access
Build the stage from real deck sizes, set its height, and add stairs and ramps where the performers and the wheelchair route need them. The deck height carries into 3D, so what sits on it sits at the right level.
- Modular stage from standard deck sizes, any height
- Round and half-round stages, runways
- Stairs and ramps for performer and accessible access
- Stage clearance kept when Smart Layout seats the room
- Elevation per object for risers and platforms
- Lock what the venue fixed so nobody moves it by accident
Truss, fixtures and sound
Place truss spans, totems and box truss, hang moving heads, PARs and LED bars, and position line arrays and main speakers against the room. Check the rig in 3D from the floor before anyone climbs.
- Truss spans, totems, box truss and hung truss
- Moving heads, PARs and LED bars on the truss
- Line arrays and main speakers, to scale
- Lighting desk, sound desk and DSM desk
- Check the rig from any seat in 3D
- Measure distances and pin them on the plan
FOH, power and cable runs
Put the FOH table where it hears the room, mark the power outlets the venue gave you, and draw the cable runs between them. The crew sees where every line goes before the truck is unloaded.
- FOH and A2 tables with their real footprint
- Power outlets marked on the plan
- Cable runs drawn on the plan
- Dimension lines you pin stay on the exported plan
- Labels on any object for the crew
- One shared plan for the venue, the planner and the crew
Drape, backdrops and the finished look
Pipe and drape for the stage curtain, the grand entrance or the ceremony backdrop, then light the 3D view like the evening and take a 4K still for the proposal.
- Pipe and drape: stage curtain, entrance, backdrop
- Partitions to split the room
- Atmosphere presets for evening light in 3D
- 4K snapshots with your logo for the proposal
- Walkthrough link your client opens without an account
- PDF and PNG export
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I plan the stage and the rig on the same plan as the seating?⌄
Yes. Stages, truss, speakers, the FOH table and the seating all live on one to-scale plan, so the crew and the planner work from the same drawing. Switch to 3D at any time to check the rig from the floor or from a seat.
Can I show where power and cable runs go?⌄
Yes. Mark the power outlets the venue gave you and draw cable runs between the positions that need them. Runs are objects on the plan, so they go out with the plan the crew takes on site.
Does Floors.live replace a CAD stage plot?⌄
For most event jobs it does the work a stage plot does: real sizes, real positions and a shared link. If the venue sends a DWG, import it as the background and build the production plan on top of it, to scale.
Can the venue stop planners from moving fixed equipment?⌄
Yes. Items the venue locks stay where the venue put them: planners can see them and plan around them, but cannot move or delete them.
