How the venue directory works

Floors.live publishes a directory of event venues built from publicly available factual information — room names, dimensions, and seating capacities — which is not protected by copyright. Public venue pages do not host floor-plan images; where a venue’s own floor plans exist, we link out to the venue’s official website.

A venue floor plan is only ever loaded into a signed-in user’s private project, at that user’s direction, as a tracing reference — and only after the user confirms they have the right to use it for their event. Floors.live does not license those materials and does not display them publicly.

Report a concern / request removal

If you are a venue, brand, or rights holder and want material removed or corrected, email dmca@floors.live or use the “Report an issue / request removal” link on any venue page. We act on valid requests the same business day and will unpublish the affected venue while we review.

DMCA notice-and-takedown

To submit a formal notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), send our Designated Agent a written notice that includes all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (e.g., the venue page URL) for us to locate it.
4. Your contact information (address, telephone, email).
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our Designated Agent a counter-notice including your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, your contact information, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

Floors.live will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
