Prismm is being retired. Your templates don't have to be.
Cvent acquired Prismm (formerly AllSeated) in April 2025 (Skift coverage) and is retiring the standalone platform: new events already moved to Cvent Event Diagramming, and Prismm access ends in June 2027. Your templates need rebuilding either way — so you can choose where. - May 13 – August 26, 2026New-event creation moved from Prismm to Cvent Event Diagramming on a rolling basis, completing August 26, 2026. New events can now only be created in Cvent Event Diagramming.
- Now – June 2027Existing Prismm events can still be edited and managed as usual.
- June 2027Prismm access ends. Prismm-created work remains available in Cvent in view-only mode.
What the move to Cvent doesn't bring along
Cvent Event Diagramming is where Prismm customers are being moved — but not everything comes with you.
Your templates
Templates are not carried over automatically — Cvent’s guidance is to recreate them as Saved Layouts in Cvent Event Diagramming.
Events before 2022
Only Prismm events dated January 1, 2022 and later appear in Cvent Event Diagramming.
Editing after June 2027
Once Prismm access ends, your Prismm work is view-only in Cvent — you can reference it but no longer edit it.

Is Prismm shutting down?
Cvent, which acquired Prismm in April 2025, is retiring it. New-event creation moved to Cvent Event Diagramming on a rolling basis between May 13 and August 26, 2026. Existing Prismm events stay editable through June 2027, when Prismm access ends; after that, prismm-created work remains available in Cvent in view-only mode.
Do my Prismm templates move to Cvent Event Diagramming?
