Questions this guide answers
How do I make room for a wheelchair at a round table?
Lower Seats by one, then drag Chair Arc below 360 degrees: the chairs close up evenly and one wide place opens. Turn the table with R so the open place faces the aisle the guest arrives from. The other guests keep evenly spaced chairs.
How much space does a wheelchair need at a table?
About 30 inches of width at the table edge and a clear path at least 36 inches wide to reach it. A 72-inch round with nine chairs, arc 320 degrees, leaves one place that wide. Seat the guest's companion right next to the open place.
Where do I note a guest's access needs?
In the guest's Accessibility field in the guest list. The note shows when you hover the guest's seat, so whoever seats the room sees it next to the right chair. Put the table close to the entrance the guest uses, with a clear path to it.
